Chief Instructor Sensei Bob McMahon
Bob McMahon bas been teaching kids and adults karate since the early 1970′s in Queensland. He founded the Australian Karate Academy in 1989 and at its peak had over 1000 students training at more than 30 dojo around Australia.

- Former State, National and International Kumite champion
- Over 40 years involved in karate, training and teaching
- Author of karate booklets and founder of several karate internet forums
- Former AKF Queensland Junior Co-Coach with Sensei Greg Storey
Head Instructor Sensei Cheyne McMahon
Cheyne McMahon first started karate as a 5 year old under the tuition of his father, Bob. Cheyne has continued to train and teach and is about to celebrate his 25th year involved in karate.

- Former State, National and International Kumite champion
- 25 years training in karate, 15 years teaching
- Currently in Queensland team for Kata and Kumite
