The AKA teach Koshinkan Kobudo (Old and New style Okinawan weapons). Kobudo has a long and interesting history and there is much debate about the practicality of old-style weapons in today's society. Although we don't carry a pair of sai around with us anymore, the principles from these weapons still exist today.

Practically anything around your home can be used as a weapon to defend yourself, you just need to know the functionality.

In our classes we teach basic movements, solo exercises, as well as plenty of partnerwork. We also teach how to apply joint locks using weapons, how to disarm someone with a weapon, and how to inflict minimal and maximum damage.
