Ok I got here in one piece, so you can all breathe a big sigh of relief. But wait, I only just made it. That isn’t entirely true. The truth is the plane we boarded from Brisbane to Taipei (brief stop before Seoul) had to make an emergency landing in Manila, Philippines. The pilot let us all know that there was a problem with the engine about 3 hours into the flight, so everyone was on the edge of their seats. Manila has to be the oldest airport I have been too. It looks like it was built in the 60’s and never had a makeover, or a clean. We were stuck in Manila for about 6 hours, so we didn’t actually end up getting to Taipei until 12am. We got to the hotel at 1:30am, and woke up at 4:30am for a 7:00am flight to Seoul! I am currently sitting in a PC Bang (internet cafe) reading and writing some emails. We are getting a bullet train to Yeorim’s family’s town of Busan at 8pm. It is now 6:15pm, so we should probably get a move on.

I haven’t heard back from my Korean Karate friends about what they want to do, so I can’t update you there unfortunately.

I hope everything is going well down at the club!

Stay tuned for more updates…..
