KARATE
NEWS We have a new web site coming Sorry that the site hasn't been updated for a while but the club has been undergoing some changes and some new information will be published soon. The classes have been going along quite nicely and there has been a change of emphasis in the training. The students, both adults and children have really been enjoying the changes made. The teaching is more focussed on building a foundation of practical skills and the class numbers have been rising. The founder of the AKA, Bob McMahon, has taken a step back from regular teaching to recharge his batteries and to put all the study he has undertaken in karate over four decades into action within the training syllabus. Chief Instructor Cheyne McMahon has been adding his own innovations based on two decades of experience and the students have been loving the training as well as the social side of the club. The last thursday
night of the month is our social night and the adult classes are joined
together on this night so we can all go to a local club for a meal amd
a quiet drink together. See Cheyne for details.. The AA has been quietly reinventing itself to meet the needs of the students in the 21st Century. Why not give us a call and ask 'Whats up?' 0403 350 339
